There are several hot springs below Hoover Dam on the Colorado River recently designated as the Black Canyon National Water Trail. Some areas can be done by land, some can be done by water and some can be done by both. These include areas like Sauna Cave, Heated Cove, Gold Strike Hot Springs (Nevada Hot Springs), Lone Palm, Boy Scout Hot Springs, Moonscape Hot Springs and Ringbolt Hot Springs (Arizona Hot Springs)

April 20, 2015 - Ringbolt Hot Springs (Arizona Hot Springs)

Today was a quiet day at the Arizona Hot Springs. There was a group of kayakers come through led by Gerald and a group of hikers come through led by Reid. Reid also helped with the litter on the trail. Thanks Reid. After these groups came through it was very quiet the rest of the day. A lizard kept coming by almost trying to get as close to me as he could before I would move and then he would run off, only to repeat the journey. The upper pool was 111 degrees, the middle pool 104 and the lower was 98.
