It was a really nice morning. A few clouds overhead which is a rare in the desert. There was a group of about 30 kids, 7th graders from Phoenix, AZ and were spending 3 nights on the river. Next year they go rafting down the the Colorado River at the Grand Canyon. They never had anything like that when I went to school. The were people there from New Hampshire and Orange County, CA. It was a nice day with a high of 81 degrees.
