Today was a beautiful day to kayak the lake side of Hoover Dam.

September 9, 2015 - Update on Hot Springs Trails

Due to lingering heat, Arizona Hot Springs and Gold Strike Hot Springs trails will be closed until October 1, 2015.

September 3, 2015 - Paddling Lake Mead

It was a beautiful day at the lake. There were challenging 32 mile per hour winds, but otherwise a beautiful day.

As summertime comes to an end, I am still enjoying kayaking and exploring different coves in the Lake Mead area. Still lots of warm sunshine.

May 29, 2015 Switch from Hiking to Kayaking

The trails to the hot springs are closed for the summer because of the heat. They are closed as of May 29, 2015. They will reopen September 9, 2015 Time to go kayaking instead.
